You Have Time For These Crunch Work Outs - At Home OR at Work

If you are like me, it's sometimes hard to find the time to put in a good workout that makes a dent in your overall body fitness, much less creating those perfect six pack abs. So you need some time crunch workouts whether you're at home or at work.

I love going to the gym to work out, but sometimes it's not always practical. It may be too hard to get up one hour and half early to head for the gym. So it's time to get a few extra zzz's on those days and do this instead.
Squeeze in five minutes here and ten minutes there and maybe three minutes somewhere else. Well you get the picture. Once you add it all up, you've had quite the workout for the day.

If you have a private office at work, you'll feel a little more comfortable doing your routine. If you're in a cubicle or open space, find a spot where you can do your short workout exercises. If you're at home, well, then it'll be super easy to find short moments of time for your workout.

So if you're working 9-5, start right when you get to work. Then once an hour, while at work, find 2-5 minutes to squeeze in your exercises.
Some of the exercises you can include are:
? Squats (legs together, a foot apart, you can even use an exercise band for challenge if you feel comfortable)
? Pushups
? Walking lunges (you can reverse them if you want as well)
? Go up and down the staircase if you have one
? Plank holds (like a stationary pushup - hold for 1 minute)
? If you have a mat and are willing to lie down - do leg lifts, bicycle abs, some crunches
? Forward and side leg kicks
? Punches - crossover, upper cuts, straight forward

Two or three minutes of these every hour will get your heart pumping and muscles worked, but without sweating so you can get right back to work.

You will also burn some extra calories that you wouldn't have done before. So on those days where you just can't find the time for a nice one hour workout, you will have time for these crunch workouts. You'll be energized, your muscles will have worked and your body will burn the fat calories away!

Determination is the primary key to losing weight. Without it, then all of your diet and weight loss/exercise plans are useless.

Nice routine for busy people but I would go to the GYM for my workouts.
At home or at work you always have something to do and you tend to skip the workouts.

Good to have a few exercises that can be done at home - hard to find time to go to the gym with kids running around the house!

It doesnt matter how many fitness books and dvds you buy. If you dont dedicate yourself to a workout routine and eating right, then you wont see any results.

At one time I woke up about 2 hours early to go to the gym. I now wait until I get off from work. It takes me about 1 hour when I do cardio and about 2 hours when I do cardio and strength training. Gym Time

I've always tried to take the stairs when possible, as I believe one of the best ways to stay healthy and keep off unwanted fat/weight is not only by exercising, but by living an active life style. Taking the stairs is a great way to keep your activity level up without really having to think about it. I'm a firm believer that a healthy lifestyle is one of the most important and effective ways to stay fit, but sometimes there are hard to lose fat areas around your body still. One thing that has helped me besides having an active lifestyle, is using Red Light Therapy to lose that hard to lose spot fat. Some red light therapy machines are FDA approved, and there is a lot of evidence of their effectiveness.
